Are your bags authentic?
At The Clawset, we understand that shopping for pre-owned luxury items online requires trust. The reselling industry is plagued by sellers of counterfeit luxury products, so it is essential that we source our inventory from Certified Luxury Dealers who have established certification processes and built a reputation on their diligent authentication process. All luxury handbags (Louis Vuitton, Prada, Celine, Chanel, Gucci, Fendi, Goyard, Burberry, YSL, MCM) we sell go through a third-party authentication service to ensure it is 100% authentic.
We pride ourselves on also being an Entrupy verified seller. That means we are utilizing some of the best technology in the industry. Entrupy is a microscopic device that utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to authenticate select luxury branded handbags and accessories. As an Entrupy verified seller, they have entrusted us with their device. With this device, we submit images of logos, materials, leathers, and hardware. The algorithms judge images against a database of millions of other images to determine if the item is authentic.
When you check out you will have the option of selecting shipping insurance protection - At the time of checkout this will only be valued at the amount that you put down, 30%. If you are wanting insurance on the remaining balance you will be responsible for purchasing the additional coverage by letting us know. Item won't be shipped until the additional money is paid for, if you would like it.
How does your layaway plan work?
By initiating a layaway plan, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Add the item(s) you would like to purchase to your cart.
2. At checkout use the code "LAYAWAY" You will pay your 30% non refundable deposit plus any applicable taxes.
3. Make your payments. We will contact you to see how you would like to pay for the balance. You have 90 days to complete your payments (the remaining 70%).
4. We ship your items! Once your item has been paid in full, your item will ship.

Layaway is only available for luxury items $500 and over.
At The Clawset, we’re proud to offer convenient layaway options to help you secure your dream bag. To ensure a smooth and fair process for everyone, we’ve outlined our layaway terms below. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your purchase.
Payment Options:
Credit Card: Provide us with your credit card information and desired dates and amounts and we will charge your card accordingly.
The Clawset Layaway Terms and Conditions
By initiating a layaway plan, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Layaway Duration
For orders under $3499, full payment must be completed within 90 days from the date of your initial deposit. For orders of $3,500 or more, you have up to 6 months to complete payment (if that option has been arranged). Any extensions beyond that requires written approval from The Clawset prior to the end of the layaway term. -
Administrative Fee
A non-refundable administrative fee of $75 will be charged per handbag placed on layaway, regardless of how many items are in the order. For orders over $3,500 you have the option of a 6 month layaway plan for $150. If your order is over $3,500 you will be provided with two options in this email. -
Change of Payment Date Fee
A $75 fee will apply each time you request to change a scheduled payment date from the original agreed-upon plan. You're always welcome to pay off your balance early with no fee. -
Non-Refundable Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the handbag’s total price is required to initiate the layaway. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. -
Payment Schedule
Payments will be processed manually by The Clawset on the dates and for the amounts you submit via email after your deposit. It is your sole responsibility to ensure funds are available on each payment date. We do not send reminders. Your terms start the day your order is placed. -
Declined or Missed Payments
If a payment is declined or missed, a $30 fee will be added. If not resolved within 48 hours, your layaway may be canceled at our discretion, and all prior payments will be forfeited. -
Early Payoff
If you pay off your item early, it will be shipped within 3–5 business days. All other layaway terms remain in effect. -
Cancellation & Forfeiture
For orders under $3499, full payment must be received within 90 days. For orders of $3,500 or more, payment must be completed within 6 months (if that option has been arranged). If you cancel your layaway or fail to complete payment within the required timeframe, all payments and fees made will be forfeited, and the item will be returned to inventory. Extensions may be granted only with written approval prior to the end of the layaway term. -
Layaway Extensions
If you need longer than the original layaway agreement there will be a fee of $175 for each additional month. -
Communication & Setup
After your initial deposit, you will receive an email requesting your payment dates, amounts, and payment method. You must reply within 24 hours.
Failure to reply within 24 hours will result in immediate cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit. -
Non-Transferability
Layaway agreements are non-transferable. They cannot be reassigned to another person or handbag. -
Final Sale
All layaway sales are final. Items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable for any reason once the deposit has been made. -
Discretionary Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any layaway plan if we believe there has been a violation of these terms or if we suspect fraud or abuse. In all such cases, all payments and fees will be forfeited. -
Policy Modifications
We may update or modify these layaway terms at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of your deposit will govern your layaway. -
Shipping Protection
If you selected Shipping Insurance at checkout, I’ll confirm that you are fully covered. If not, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance. -
Legal Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Texas, USA.
By initiating a layaway plan with The Clawset, you agree to all of the above terms. These policies are in place to protect our small business and ensure a seamless experience for all customers.

What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted. Ask any questions before purchasing.
Order Cancellation
Once an order is placed, there are no cancellations. In the rare exception it is approved there is a 30% restocking fee.
Items are sold AS IS.
We describe the wear and condition of all items to the best of our ability. It is important to note, that the items we are selling are not new. They are preloved and will show very light to moderate signs of wear. As the buyer, you understand items may have a vintage odor. If there is a smell we will make note, however, everyones senses are different. Please read the descriptions of each item carefully and look at all of the photos provided. We show all of our handbags as they are, so please note the size. Coloring of bags can slightly change due to the varying screen calibration. If you are in doubt about any details of the item you are purchasing, please contact us prior to purchasing.
When will my items ship?
CLOTHING: Since most clothing items are made to order, we do our best to get your item(s) out within 5-10 business days. We understand your excitement to get your new item(s) and will do our best to get it out right away. During peak season, times may be extended.
LUXURY ITEMS: 3-5 business day. We ship Monday-Friday. No Saturday and Sunday shipments. During peak season, times may be extended. Signature confirmation is required.
Please note, for security purposes, billing and shipping address must match at checkout.
My item came damaged, what do I do?
The Clawset is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim.
