Our Authentication Process

We use trusted professional authentication companies that specialize in evaluating designer goods.

Depending on the brand and item, we select one of our three primary authentication providers to perform an independent review. Their specialists examine the details appropriate to the piece, which may include materials, construction, stitching, hardware, date codes, serial information, brand markings, and other identifying characteristics.

Authentication and Condition Are Different

Authentication confirms whether an item is genuine. It does not mean that a pre-owned piece is flawless or unused.

We make every reasonable effort to describe each item accurately and show its condition through photographs. However, it is not possible to identify or photograph every minor mark, variation, imperfection, or sign of wear. Photographs are part of the condition description and should be reviewed carefully.

Colors may appear differently because of lighting, photography, and individual screen settings. We cannot guarantee that the color displayed on your device will exactly match the item in person.

Pre-owned items may retain scents associated with materials, storage, cleaning products, fragrances, or previous environments. If an odor is noticeable to us during inspection, we will make a reasonable effort to disclose it in the item description. However, scent perception and sensitivity vary greatly from person to person, so an odor that is not noticeable to us may be noticeable to someone else. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that any pre-owned item will be completely odor-free.
