About Us

Hi, I'm Mindy!
Nice to meet you and welcome to The Clawset. I'm originally from the Midwest but now living in Texas!
After moving to Texas I had the opportunity to foster animals that needed a home. When I reached the maximum number of pets I could foster and adopt, I wondered how I could continue to help animals in need. So, I put my passions together and created The Clawset.
Whether you're looking for a new to you, pre-owned designer handbag or a new article of clothing, you can rely on The Clawset as a worry-free, reliable source for buying high-end designer handbags and clothing!
The Clawset allows you to shop new clothing and pre-loved luxury items at great prices all while helping animals.
This is not a solo mission. At The Clawset, we love the fashion world, and want everyone else to as well. This is why we work to bring every piece on our site to its new happy home - so we can share the love and help animals while also reducing the impact on the environment by extending the life of quality items.
If you have any questions about any of the items on our site, please reach out to us. We get to see, feel and smell each and every item we sell. And we want to put our expertise and passion to work for you!
With much gratitude,
Mindy
Meet the crew:
Bentley is a spirited 10-year-old who began his journey in an unforgettable way—he was born in a car on the drive home from a shelter in Corpus Christi. His foster mom, Mindy, quickly realized he was right where he belonged, and he’s been part of the family ever since.
Bentley loves long walks but would happily skips car rides.
In 2023, Bentley faced his first major battle when he was diagnosed with liver cancer and given a very slim chance of survival. Against the odds, by December 2024, he was officially declared cancer-free.
At a follow-up liver checkup in June 2025, Bentley was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma. Surgery was unsuccessful, but he went on to receive ECT treatments. In December, his oncologist shared the best news yet—everything looked great, and Bentley appears to be cancer-free for the second time.
If you join one of our live sales, you may just get to see this handsome pup making a guest appearance.
Molly was adopted from a shelter in San Antonio and was around 6 years old in 2021. From the moment they met, Mindy knew she was a perfect fit for the family—and Molly has fully settled into that role.
She loves cuddling, going for walks, car rides, and proudly hoarding all her toys like tiny treasures.
If you join one of our live sales, you’ll very likely spot Miss Molly fast asleep on her bed nearby. She prefers to stay close, supervise quietly, and conserve her energy for cuddles and snacks.
In loving memory....
Bailey Mae joined our family at just 8 weeks old after being dropped off at a shelter in Illinois with her littermates. She lived a long, happy life, reaching 17 years. Bailey had a love for walks, car rides, food, and exploring the country with us. She crossed the rainbow bridge in November 2016, leaving behind a legacy of love and adventure.
Barney was found on the streets of San Antonio and became part of our family when a local shelter wouldn't take him in. In 2018, at the age of 5, he began limping and was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Despite facing a leg amputation and chemotherapy, Barney handled it like a true champ, touching the hearts of many. He loved walks, car rides, playing ball, and even climbing trees. Barney crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2019, but his spirit and resilience live on in our memories.

Pnut was adopted from a shelter in Illinois when she was just 8 weeks old and spent 17 wonderful years with the family. Despite her age, she remained full of life and energy, always eager for walks and a game of fetch. A pure soul, Pnut never really acted her age. She crossed the rainbow bridge in September 2021, leaving behind cherished memories.
Bogey was a special part of our family, having been abandoned by not one, but two families before we welcomed him with open arms. If you were with us at the start of our online journey, you may remember him being a part of our lives. He was a sweet, laid-back pup, but he wasn’t afraid to use his voice if we were late with dinner! Sadly, we lost him at the end of February 2024, but his memory will always hold a special place in our hearts.
