Nice to meet you and welcome to The Clawset. I'm originally from the Midwest but now living in Texas!
After moving to Texas I had the opportunity to foster animals that needed a home. When I reached the maximum number of pets I could foster and adopt, I wondered how I could continue to help animals in need. So, I put my passions together and created The Clawset.

This is not a solo mission. At The Clawset, we love the fashion world, and want everyone else to as well. This is why we work to bring every piece on our site to its new happy home - so we can share the love and help animals while also reducing the impact on the environment by extending the life of quality items.

Meet the crew:
Bentley is a spirited 10-year-old who began his journey in an unforgettable way—he was born in a car on the drive home from a shelter in Corpus Christi. His foster mom, Mindy, quickly realized he was right where he belonged, and he’s been part of the family ever since.
Bentley loves long walks but would happily skips car rides.
In 2023, Bentley faced his first major battle when he was diagnosed with liver cancer and given a very slim chance of survival. Against the odds, by December 2024, he was officially declared cancer-free.
At a follow-up liver checkup in June 2025, Bentley was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma. Surgery was unsuccessful, but he went on to receive ECT treatments. In December, his oncologist shared the best news yet—everything looked great, and Bentley appears to be cancer-free for the second time.
If you join one of our live sales, you may just get to see this handsome pup making a guest appearance.
Our Story
Hi, I’m Mindy. After moving from the Midwest to Texas, I began fostering animals in need. When our home reached its limit—but my desire to help did not—I brought together my love of fashion, great finds, and animal rescue to create The Clawset.
Today, we connect beautiful new and pre-owned pieces with their next happy home while helping animals along the way. Every item is personally seen, felt, and carefully considered so you can shop with confidence.

Born in a car on the ride home from a Corpus Christi shelter, Bentley made it clear from day one that he belonged. Bentley has now faced cancer three times, meeting every challenge with the same remarkable spirit that has always defined him. He still loves long walks and may make a handsome guest appearance during our live sales.
Adopted from a San Antonio shelter, Miss Molly loves cuddles, walks, car rides, and proudly hoarding her toys. During live sales, she can usually be found nearby—quietly supervising from the comfort of her bed.
The beloved companions whose lives and resilience continue to shape The Clawset.
Bailey Mae joined the family at eight weeks old after arriving at an Illinois shelter with her littermates. She enjoyed 17 happy years filled with walks, car rides, food, and adventures across the country.
Found on the streets of San Antonio, Barney became family when a local shelter could not take him. He faced osteosarcoma, an amputation, and chemotherapy like a champion—and never lost his love of walks, ball games, or climbing trees.
Adopted from an Illinois shelter at eight weeks old, Pnut spent 17 wonderful years with the family. She remained youthful, energetic, and always ready for a walk or a game of fetch.
After being abandoned by two families, Bogey finally found the home he deserved. Sweet and laid-back—with plenty to say when dinner was late—he remains a cherished part of The Clawset story.
