How It Works

1. Add your handbag to your cart.

2. At checkout, enter code LAYAWAY.

3. Pay your 20% deposit.

4. Within 24–48 hours, you'll receive an email from Partial.ly to set up your payment plan.

5. Choose:

  • Your payment frequency
  • Your first payment date
  • Add an additional down payment (optional)

6. Sit back and relax! Your handbag will ship within 3–5 business days after your balance has been paid in full.

Layaway Details

✔ Available on handbags priced $500 and above

✔ 20% non-refundable deposit

✔ 90-day payment plan

✔ $75 non-refundable setup fee

✔ Purchases over $3,500 may qualify for payment plans up to 6 months (setup fee: $150)

✔ Pay off your balance early anytime—no penalty

✔ Make additional payments whenever you'd like through your Partial.ly account.

Things to Know

  • Your deposit reserves your handbag and removes it from inventory.
  • All handbags remain the property of The Clawset until paid in full.
  • Orders ship only after the balance has been paid completely.
  • Please ensure your payment method remains active throughout your payment plan.
  • Payment reminders are not sent, so we recommend setting your own reminders.

Need to Make a Change?

Life happens—we understand!

  • Payment date changes may be available when requested in advance.
  • A schedule modification fee applies.
  • If you need additional time, extensions may be available with prior written approval. Extension fees apply.

Missed Payments

If payments remain unresolved, late fees may apply, and your payment plan may be canceled according to your signed Layaway & Payment Plan Agreement.

Shipping Protection

Shipping protection is available during checkout and is strongly recommended.

If shipping protection is declined, any reimbursement for lost or damaged packages is limited to the carrier's coverage. The Clawset cannot provide additional reimbursement beyond what is available through the carrier.

If shipping protection calculates incorrectly, we'll contact you before processing your order.
